Freedom Evbakoe Amenaghawon was born and raised in Nigeria. From an early age, he demonstrated a strong aptitude for science and an enduring curiosity about how things worked. Like many ambitious young Nigerians, he harboured dreams of a career in medicine — specifically, the study and practice of Medicine and Surgery — believing that healthcare would provide the most direct path to making meaningful contributions to society.

However, life had other plans. In 2020, a year that would prove to be one of the most consequential of his life, Freedom experienced the profound loss of his father. The event reshaped his perspective on responsibility, resilience, and the urgency of building a meaningful future. That same year, he gained admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN), one of Nigeria's foremost institutions of higher learning.

Rather than pursuing Medicine and Surgery as originally intended, he enrolled in the Department of Microbiology and began working toward a Bachelor of Science degree. Though the path was different from the one he had envisioned, he committed himself fully to his studies. Microbiology sharpened his analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, and research-oriented mindset — cognitive tools that would later prove invaluable in his entrepreneurial career.

During the waiting period before commencing university, Freedom acquired catering skills as a vocational trade. This early exposure to service delivery, quality control, and client satisfaction planted the seeds of an entrepreneurial mindset that would continue to grow throughout his academic years.

Freedom's years at the University of Benin were characterised by a restless determination to extract value from every opportunity. While many students confined their education to lecture halls and laboratories, he supplemented his formal studies with practical experiments in business, income generation, and self-reliance.

He explored multiple small-scale ventures, each one teaching him something new about customer behaviour, operational management, and the realities of commerce in Nigeria. These early experiences were not always profitable, but they were consistently educational. He developed a philosophy that would remain with him: education should never be limited to the classroom.

The most ambitious of his undergraduate ventures involved the acquisition of a Toyota Corolla through a higher-purchase arrangement facilitated by LAPO, a Nigerian microfinance institution. The vehicle was subsequently deployed for ride-hailing operations on the Bolt platform while Freedom continued to attend classes and fulfil his academic obligations.

Managing a commercial vehicle while pursuing a university degree demanded discipline, time management, and financial acumen. There were operational costs to cover, maintenance issues to resolve, customer expectations to meet, and loan obligations that could not be deferred. The experience taught him lessons about risk, accountability, and cash-flow management that no textbook could have conveyed with the same immediacy.

Following the completion of his university education, Freedom embarked on an intensive period of professional development. Recognising that technology was rapidly reshaping industries, economies, and the nature of work itself, he invested significant time and resources in acquiring technical skills that would complement his scientific background.

His studies spanned software development, data analytics, cloud computing, and digital business systems. He earned certifications in Python programming, Java, Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Office Specialist), Power BI, Tableau, and cloud computing platforms. Each certification represented not merely a credential, but a deliberate investment in the capacity to build, analyse, and lead in a technology-driven economy.

His interests expanded to include artificial intelligence, business automation, and data-driven decision-making — areas he believed would define the next generation of successful enterprises. This period of intensive skill acquisition transformed him from a science graduate with entrepreneurial tendencies into a technology professional with a distinctive, multidisciplinary perspective.

In 2026, Freedom formally incorporated PrimeShieldHub Gadgets Limited (RC 9283954), a Nigerian technology and commerce enterprise. The company was founded on a simple but powerful premise: customers deserve access to authentic products, dependable service, and business relationships built on trust.

The company's initial focus was on consumer electronics, including smartphones, laptops, accessories, and technology products. From the outset, however, Freedom's vision extended beyond retail. He conceived of PrimeShieldHub as a platform for innovation — an organisation capable of adapting, growing, and expanding into new opportunities as they emerged.

Under his leadership as Founder and Chief Executive Officer, PrimeShieldHub has pursued a strategy of thoughtful diversification. The company's operations now encompass technology retail, digital commerce, and strategic investments across complementary sectors of the Nigerian economy.

As PrimeShieldHub matured, Freedom adopted a philosophy of strategic diversification. He believed that sustainable enterprises should not be confined to single industries, and that the principles of integrity, operational excellence, and customer focus could be applied across sectors.

This conviction led to the establishment of PrimeShieldHub BuildMart, a division focused on building materials and construction-related supply chains. The division serves customers within the housing and infrastructure sectors, reflecting Freedom's belief that businesses should contribute to developmental needs within their communities.

Simultaneously, he deepened his involvement in agriculture, establishing cassava farming operations spanning multiple hectares of farmland. These agricultural investments form part of a long-term diversification strategy designed to create sustainable growth while contributing to food production and rural economic activity. For Freedom, agriculture represents both an investment opportunity and a commitment to one of Africa's most important economic sectors.
